Leadership in Sales 2024+
The world is changing at lightning speed. Megatrends such as individualization, globalization, digitization and demographic change are transforming society and the world of work - changing everything.
What we need are managers who can deal with these changes, who give their employees support and direction in uncertain times, who, in case of doubt, even have what it takes to serve as a projection screen for role models!
But the most important argument for controllers: Inefficient leadership causes high costs. The good news is that leadership qualities can be developed and improved!
And this is often urgently necessary - especially in sales!
For example, Kienbaum and the job board Stepstone stated in their 2018 study "The Art of Leadership in the Digital Revolution" with 13,500 surveyed professionals and managers:
"Effective leadership that increases both the employee's performance and his or her satisfaction (and thus the chance of his or her remaining in the company) needs perceived self-determination, autonomy, freedom, trust, and emotional support on the part of the employee, but also the communication of clear goals and task or role assignments."
